We are pleased to announce that we have broadened our heat transfer capabilities with the addition of FABSCO Shell and Tube, LLC, Gooch Thermal Systems, Heat Exchanger Design, Inc. and Hoffman Process, Inc. to our list of suppliers.

FABSCO gives us the expertise in larger diameter carbon steel and alloy steel shell and tube heat exchangers, air-cooled exchangers and process boilers and reboilers for the refinery and heavy industry applications.

Gooch Thermal Systems produces custom designed spiral exchangers. Spirals are compact, wrapped cylindrical designs that require minimum installation space and servicing area. The entire heat transfer surface is normally accessible for inspection or manual cleaning simply by removing the covers.

Heat Exchanger Design (HED, Inc.) supplies custom alloy shell and tube, hairpin, double pipe and multi-tube exchangers for the chemical and process industries.

Hoffman Process specializes in custom designed air preheaters and finned tube heat exchangers for all industries.

We have also recently reached an agreement with APV Evaporation Technologies to offer single and multiple effect plate and tubular evaporators.

Dixie Engineering Co., Inc. has recently supplied or been issued orders on the following equipment:


All of the agitators, plate and frame heat exchangers and the spiral heat exchangers for a composite materials manufacturer in North Alabama. The companies of supply are ProQuip, APV and Gooch respectively.


A contract to supply APV titanium plate and frame heat exchangers to a large engineering-contractoring firm with the ultimate end user being a manufacturer of chlor-alkali products.


Recently awarded an order for two Gooch 1500 sq. ft. 304 SS spiral heat exchangers to a producer of poly-silicate materials in South Alabama.


An LCI agitated thin film evaporator to a producer of pharmaceutical/food grade chemicals in South Alabama.
